It counts visits with Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool the SynaBun project hosts itself, and with Cloudflare Web Analytics, and its server keeps standard request logs. ### Who runs this website synabun.ai is the website of the SynaBun open-source project, maintained by Danilo Khury. For anything about this policy or your data, write to [chat@synabun.ai](mailto:chat@synabun.ai). ### What this website collects #### Visit statistics Pages load [Umami](https://umami.is) from analytics.synabun.ai, an instance the project runs itself. It records the page you view, the page you came from, your browser, operating system, device type, screen size, language and country. Umami sets no cookies and does not follow you across other websites. #### Page speed statistics Cloudflare, which delivers the website, adds its [Web Analytics](https://developers.cloudflare.com/web-analytics/about/) script to the pages. The script loads from static.cloudflareinsights.com and reports to synabun.ai/cdn-cgi/rum: the page you view, the page you came from, your country, browser, operating system and device type, and how fast the page loaded and responded (load times and Core Web Vitals). We use it to count visits and to see how fast the pages are for real visitors. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser, and Cloudflare says it does not track visitors across websites. #### Server logs The web server logs each request: the IP address, the date and time, the address requested, the response, the referring page and the browser's user agent. These logs are used to run the website and keep it secure. #### Delivery through Cloudflare The website is delivered through Cloudflare, which handles every request, including your IP address, to deliver the pages and protect the site. #### Resources from other services Some pages load files from other services, so your browser connects to them directly and they receive your IP address and browser details: fonts from Google Fonts and Online Web Fonts, the three.js library from jsDelivr on the homepage, and the current release and release notes from the GitHub API. #### In your browser The demo on the homepage remembers one display preference, whether its activity trace is open, in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your browser. #### Email If you write to us, we use your message and address to answer you. ### What this website does not do - It sets no cookies for tracking or advertising. - It has no forms, newsletter sign-up or user accounts. - It does not sell or share your data. ### The SynaBun software This policy covers the website. The SynaBun software runs on your own computer: its memory stays on your machine, and the AI providers you connect to it receive the context you send them, under their own policies.
