SynaBun runs on your own computer, as a desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux or as the synabun npm package. Its workspace, SynApp, brings together SynaBun Assistant, the Claude Code, Codex and OpenCode agents it coordinates, your project files, a code editor, terminals and browser tools.
At its core is an MCP server. It gives any AI tool that speaks the Model Context Protocol a persistent memory, kept in SQLite on your machine with embeddings computed locally, and tools for browser automation, a whiteboard, autonomous loops and more. Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and OpenCode are configured automatically; Cursor, Windsurf and other MCP clients connect with a standard configuration. The documentation covers all of it.
SynaBun is maintained by Danilo Khury, whose GitHub account, danilokhury, hosts the project's repository. Bug reports and feature requests are welcome as GitHub issues; pull requests are not accepted, because the code is maintained by the SynaBun authors.
Every release is in the changelog.
